Women in Construction (WIC) WeekWomen in Construction (WIC) Week, which is March 6-11, 2022, focuses on highlighting and strengthening women in the construction industry. It was founded by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to create a support network for women in the construction industry.

This year’s WIC Week theme is “Envision Equity,” which seeks to raise awareness of opportunities for women to enjoy a wide range of roles in the construction industry.

WIC Week also provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.

Furthermore, the National Association of Women in Construction “offers its members education, support and networking to help advance their careers in construction, build their technical skills, and become leaders.”
