G-TEK gloveHand protection is an important part of everyday construction work.

United Tool and Fastener’s most commonly sold cut-protection glove is a level three (ANSI cut protection). However, this new G-Tek® Cut-Level glove 16-560 by PIP is an ANSI level four cut protection, offering even better cut protection to workers for electronics, glass cutting, sheet metal handling, parts assembly, sharp parts handling, construction and other general duty applications.

The new PIP glove is a G-Tek® PolyKor-blend fabric that enables good breathability and increased comfort. The PolyKor-blended shell is lightweight and provides excellent dexterity, tactile sensitivity and cut resistance.

The glove comprises a Polyurethane-coated palm and fingertips for good abrasion, puncture resistance and wet/dry grip.

“In comparison to other safety gloves, this G-Tek® 16-560 seamless knit PolyKor™ product is a higher-cut glove with good dexterity, which is great for picking up small screws or other small objects,” UTF Safety Specialist, Amy Sexton, said.

The gloves have a knit-elastic wristband which keeps dust and dirt out of the glove. They are color-coded for size, with sizes ranging from XXS to 3XL.

“UTF offers gloves for every type of job, from a cut level 1 to a cut level 9,” Sexton said. "Most of our gloves that are a cut level 7 are a Keflar blend.”
