The first DeWalt Race Car Event sale in San Antonio was a success despite forecasts for rain and a wet start to the morning of Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018. The event featured special, one-day, in-store-only pricing on DeWalt products and showcased two DeWalt-sponsored Nascar race cars.

“Despite the iffy weather, our first DeWalt race car event went well,” Vice President of Sales, John Calhoun, explained.

“Many of our regular customers came out to take advantage of the special pricing in addition to some new folks.”

The first event of its kind held at the UTF San Antonio showroom featured two DeWalt-sponsored Nascar race cars and driver, Chad Strauser, which came to UTF specifically for the special September sale.

The Nascar race cars and driver, Strauser, will also be present at the Sept. 25 DeWalt sale at the Houston showroom at 6320 North Shepherd Drive.

“We had plenty of good feedback about the event,” DeWalt representative, Patrick Pulliam, said. “One customer with Southwest Electric said he didn’t know what was cooler…being able to demo all the new DeWalt tools or seeing a Nascar at UTF.”

Another customer with Marek Brothers agreed.

“It’s really nice that UTF and DeWalt bring in Nascars to go along with the great deals at this event.”
